ABSTRAK

Penelitian uji coba penggunaan umpan pada tempirai kawat (wire stage trap) terhadap hasil tangkapan ikan sepat rawa (Trichogaster trichopterus) dengan 2 perlakuan, perlakuan A menggunkan buah kelapa sawit yang dibakar, perlakuan B tidak menggunkan umpan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil tangkapan ikan sepat rawa dan untuk mengetahui komposisi hasil tangkapan selain ikan sepat rawa. Hasil uji coba perlakuan A memperoleh tangkapan sebesar 5.081,14 gr dan berjumlah 953 ekor, hasil tangkapan perlakuan B memperoleh tangkapan sebesar 5.724,54 gr dan berjumlah 1.104 ekor. Komposisi hasil tangkapan selain ikan sepat rawa (Trichogaster pectoralis) perlakuan A, yaitu ikan sepat siam (Trichogaster trichopterus) berjumlah 158 ekor dengan persentase 12,79 %, ikan tambakan (Helostoma temminchi) berjumlah 112 ekor dengan persentase 9,07 %, Ikan kapar (Polycantus sp) berjumlah 11 ekor dengan persentase 0,89 % dan ikan Papuyu (Anabas testudineus) berjumlah 1 dengan persentase 0,08 %. Perlakuan B, yaitu ikan sepat siam (Trichogaster trichopterus) berjumlah 174 ekor dengan persentase 12,93 %, ikan tambakan (Helostoma temminchi) berjumlah 52 ekor dengan persentase 3,86  %, Ikan kapar (Polycantus sp) berjumlah 13 ekor dengan persentase 0,97  % dan ikan Papuyu (Anabas testudineus) berjumlah 3 dengan persentase 0,22 %

The Research trial the use of bait on a wire stage trap to fish catch Trichogaster trichopterus with 2 treatment, treatment A using palm oil fruit that is burned, treatment B not use bait. He purpose of this research to knows the difference fish catch Trichogaster trichopterusend To understand the composition of the catch aside from fish Trichogaster trichopterus. The results of trial treatment A obtain the catch as much 5.724,54 gr end amounted 1.104 tail. The composition of catch aside from fish Trichogaster trichopterus. treatment A which Trichogaster trichopterus as much 158 tail with the percentage 12,79 %, Helostoma temminchi as much 112 tail with the percentage 9,07 %, Polycantus sp as much 11 tail with the percentage 0,89%, Anabas testudineus as much 1 tail with the percentage 0,08 % and treatment B which, Trichogaster trichopterus as much 174 tail with the percentage 12,93 %, Helostoma temminchi as much 13 tail with the percentage 0,97%, Polycantus sp as much 3 tail with the percentage 0,22%.
