            Film The Hunting Party merupakan film yang bergenre action dan thriller. Film ini bercerita tentang bentuk-bentuk kekerasan yang dialami oleh seorang wartawan yaitu kekerasan verbal dan nonverbal, yang diamati berdasarkan lambang/simbol, klasifikasi dan prediksi/analisis data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana bentuk-bentuk kekerasan terhadap wartawan dalam film The Hunting Party.

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis isi kualitatif dengan tipe penelitian deskriptif dan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data secara wawancara, observasi dan studi literatur. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis isi kualitatif.

            Hasil penelitian film The Hunting Party dibagi dalam dua bentuk yakni kekerasan verbal dan kekerasan nonverbal. Film The Hunting Party ini menunjukkan adanya bentuk-bentuk kekerasan terhadap wartawan secara verbal dan nonverbal. Kekerasan verbal disini ialah berupa sindiran, ejekan dan ancaman. Sedangkan kekerasan nonverbal disini ialah berupa pukulan, tendangan dan tamparan yang terdapat dari potongan-potongan scene di dalam film The Hunting Party.

The Hunting Party film is an action and thriller genre film. This film tells the story of the forms of violence experienced by a journalist, namely verbal and nonverbal violence, which are observed based on symbols, classification and prediction/ data analysis. This study aims to find out how the forms of violence againts journalists in the film The Hunting Party.

This study uses the method of qualitative content analysis with descriptive research types and uses data collection techniques in interviews, observation and literature studies. The data analysis technique used in this study is a qualitative content analysis technique.

The results of The Hunting Party film research are divided into two forms, namely verbal violence and nonverbal violence. The Hunting Party film shows the existence of forms of violence against journalists verbally and nonverbally. Verbal violence here is in the form of innuendo, ridicule and threat. Whereas nonverbal violence here is in the form of punches, kicks and slaps from the scene pieces in the film The Hunting party.
