This research was conducted at the tenth grade students of SMK Farmasi Al-Furqon Banjarmasin academic year 2018/2019. The aim of this research is to describe the students’ motivation in learning English based on the factors. The instruments used in collected the data were questionnaire and interview. The questionnaire which becomes the main instrument consisted of 20 items to two class tenth grade and interview as second instrument consisted of 10 questions to the English teacher. The population of tenth grade was 210 students. The researcher used cluster random technique in which every class of the population had same opportunities becomes sample of research.

            After collected and analyzed the data, in general the research found that the students’ motivation the tenth grade student of SMK Farmasi Al-Furqon Banjarmasin academic year 2018/2019 in learning English, moderate from internal and external factors. The researcher found that on the internal factor consist students’ awareness, students’ attitudes, and students’ attention. The external factor consist English subject properties, parents’ attention, the teachers, andexternal pressures can influence the students’ motivation in learning English.
