This study was conducted to determine the effect of the weight of hatching eggs on the weight and physical condition of  KUB chicken DOC. The method used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments, 5 replications and 4 eggs per replicate. The treatments given were variations in the weight of hatching eggs, namely <39.5 (g), 39.5-41.7 (g), 41.8-44.0 (g), 44.1-46.3 (g), > 46.3 (g). The variables observed were fertility, hatchability, embryo death and physical condition of KUB chicken DOC. The results showed that the weight of hatched chicken KUB eggs did not affect the fertility of eggs. Egg hatchability is influenced by the weight of hatching eggs, the highest hatchability in hatching eggs <39.5 (g) and 39.5-41.7 (g) and the lowest for hatching eggs 41.8-44.0 (g ) and> 46.3 (g). The embryo death of chicken KUB eggs was influenced by the weight of hatching eggs. KUB chicken DOC weight was influenced by the weight of hatching eggs with the lowest weight of 30.42 (g) and the highest weight of 36.33 (g).
