            The Student’s problems in learning Bahasa Indonesia, especially in writing poetry, are still low because the willingness that they have in reading Bahasa Indonesia literatures is not really enaugh, so as the results the may not have enaugh vocabularies for writing a good poetry. Another reason  is that wriritng poetry for some students in this grade may be the first experience for them, so they still need more intensive exercise and guiding from the teacher. Their result in writing poetry is lower than the minimal school standard for this subject that is 70. Therefore, it necesarry to apply some learning innovations with the solution using the combination of Student Team Achievment Divisions , Explicit Instruction, and Talking Stick Models,  for describing teacher’s activities, students’ activities, and the result of leaning Bahasa Indonesia.

            In this research, we use qualitative approach and the kind of research is the Classroom Action Reasearh. The Classroom Action Researchis divided in 4 meetings, each meeting consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research is implemented at the fifth grade SDN Sungai Miai 8 Banjarmasin and the amount of the students are 24 students. The data is adopted from instrument sheet,observation sheet, and learning result test, and it is analyzed by description technique and visualized in tabels and graphs, and the interpetation by using the criteria that has been settled before by each student’s succes indicator individually and classical.

Result of the research show that teacher activities in the first metting getting score 16 with good criteria, and it increases in the forth meeting become score 23 with very good criteria. The students’ activities increasing too, at the first meeting we get 58,33% with Active criteria and increased on the forth meeting we get 95,83% with Very Active criteria. Similarly for the result of student learning, on the fist meeting we get 62,5% score and it increasesat the last meeting be 95,83%.

Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded there are some significant increases on teacher activities, students’ activities, and result of student learning. Suggestions for teachers, principals, and other researchers in order to making the result of this research as a reference in improving the quality of learning.

Permasalahan siswa dalam pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Tema Sehat Itu Penting, disebabkan karena kurangnya minat siswa dalam membaca literasi Bahasa Indonesia, sehingga perbendaharaan kata yang mereka miliki untuk menuliskan pantun sangat terbatas,sehingga hasil belajar siswa masih di bawah KKM yang telah ditetapkan, yaitu 70 Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan inovasi pembelajaran dengan solusi menggunakan kombinasi model pembelajaran Student Team Achievment Divisions,Explicit Instruction,dan Talking Stick dengan tujuan untuk mendskripsikan aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, dan hasil belajar pada pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Tema Sehat Itu Penting.

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitan Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak 4 kali pertemuan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas V SDN Sungai Miai 8 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 24 orang. Data dihasilkan dari lembar instrumen lembar observasi dan tes hasil belajar, kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif dan digambarkan dalam bentuk tabel dan grafik, selanjutnya diinterpretasikan dengan menggunakan kriteria pada masing-masing indikator keberhasilan aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa, serta tercapainya ketuntasan belajar siswa secara individual dan klasikal.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas guru pertemuan 1 memperoleh skor 16 kriteria “Baik”, meningkat pada pertemuan 4 menjadi 23 dengan kriteria “Sangat Baik”. Aktivitas siswa juga mengalami peningkatan pada pertemuan 1 memperoleh 58,33% dengan kriteria “Cukup Aktif” dan meningkat pada pertemuan 4 menjadi 95,83% dengan kriteria “Sangat Aktif”. Begitu pula pada hasil belajar siswa pada pertemuan 1 memperoleh 62,5% dan meningkat pada pertemuan 4 menjadi 95,83%. 

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, maka disimpulkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pada aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, serta hasil belajar. Adapun saran bagi guru, kepala sekolah, dan peneliti lain agar dapat menjadikan hasil dari penelitian ini sebagai acuan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran.
