PENGARUH PEMBERIAN SERBUK BEBERAPA JENIS TANAMAN DALAM MENEKAN PERKEMBANGAN HAMA KUTU BERAS (Sitophilus oryzae L.)

EFFECT OF GIVING SEVERAL TYPES OF PLANTS IN SUPPRESSING THE DEVELOPMENT OF RICE LICE PEST (Sitophilus oryzae L.)

ABSTRACT

Rice lice (Sitophilus oryzae L.) is one of the many types of warehouse pests that damage rice stocks in storage. One way to control these pests is by using plant-based pesticides.. The environmental design used in this study was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 10 treatments of plant powder doses. The results of this study indicate that the administration of powder of several types of plants has a significant influence on the mortality parameters of S.oryzae and the development ofpopulations S.oryzae. On rice weight parameters the results of the study showed no significant difference.

ABSTRAK

Kutu beras (Sitophilus oryzae L.) adalah hama gudang yang banyak menyebabkan kerusakan beras pada masa penyimpanan. Pengendalian hama kutu beras dapat dilakukan dengan cara menggunakan pestisida nabati. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 10 perlakuan dosis serbuk tanaman Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan pemberian beberapa serbuk jenis tanaman menunjukkan pengaruh nyata pada parameter mortalitas S.oryzae dan perkembangan populasi S.oryzae. Pada parameter bobot beras hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak berbeda nyata.
