ABSTRACT

 

On the initial planning of construction, the main aspect to be reckoned with is cost and time. The purpose of this research is to be able to accelerate construction project of Penitentiary Technical Office in Batu Licin by using Least Cost Scheduling methods to get the work done in time.

Data processing starts by making a work breakdown structure (WBS), Makes the logic of analytic diagram dependence, create the Precedence Diagram Method (PDM). An alternative to speeding up duration is to increase work hours and increase workers. Acceleration calculations are made at critical path to get optimum time and cost.

The construction of the project can be completed in 180 days at a cost of Rp 5.934.662.657,24, By doing crashing by adding 3 hours of work on the critical path, the duration up to 166 days at a total cost of Rp 6.150.446.778,46. By adding workers on the critical path, the duration is 166 days with a total cost of Rp 5.947.006.520,88. The difference between normal costs and after acceleration by increase working hour is Rp 100.417.454,55 and by adding workers is Rp 24.243.863,64.
