Wardani, Silvia. 2021. Improving Mathematics Learning Outcomes in Prism Materials Using Realistic Mathematical Education (RME) Models, Combined with Number Head Together (NHT), and Examples Non Examples in Class V SDN 1 Anjir Serapat Barat. Thesis for the Undergraduate Program in Elementary School Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Lambung Mangkurat University, Banjarmasin. Supervisor Drs. Sutiyarso, M.Pd.

Keywords: Student Learning Outcomes, Building Space, RME Model, NHT and Examples Non Examples.

The problem in this study is the low mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 1 Anjir Serapat Barat. This is due to the low mastery of students on the material, students lack confidence in asking questions that have not been understood and the lack of student involvement in the learning process. Efforts are being made to use a combination of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) learning models, Numbered Head Together (NHT) and Examples Non Examples. This study aims to determine teacher activities, student activities and increase student learning outcomes.

The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative and the type of research conducted is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted at SDN 1 Anjir Serapat Barat for fifth grade students with a total of 5 students for the 2020/2021 academic year. The factors studied were the factors of teachers, students and learning outcomes. The types of data in this study are qualitative and quantitative. Quantitative data were obtained from observations of teacher and student activities, while quantitative data were obtained through measurement techniques with written tests and assignments.

The results showed that the learning model of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME), Numbered Head Together (NHT) and Examples Non Examples can be seen from the teacher's activity from the first meeting with a score of 61.76 increased to 82.35 at the fourth meeting. Student activity in meeting 1 I based on classical 57.48% increased to 67.47% at meeting IV. Student learning outcomes in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains have reached the indicators of completeness that have been set both individually and classically.

Based on the conclusions of the results of this study, it is recommended that schools be able to use the results of this study as an alternative to choosing a learning model and improving learning outcomes of Mathematics in presenting data through Realistic Mathematics Education (RME), Numbered Head Together (NHT) and Examples Non Examples models.
