Coffee production has recently increased, this is influenced by people who like to drink coffee. Along with the development of coffee shops it cannot be separated from the amount of waste produced one of which is coffee grounds, most of which are thrown away. Coffee grounds waste can be utilized by processing it into compost which can help reduce wasted coffee grounds. The decomposition process is a very important requirement in composting. This research uses several decomposers in the composting process, namely EM4, M21, BeKa Dekomposer, and Petro Gladiator. Obtaining the appropriate type of decomposer according to SNI 19-7030-2004 in Composting Coffee Ground Waste is the goal. This research started from June to August 2021 which was carried out at the Compost House of the Agroecotechnology Study Program and the Physics, Chemistry and Soil Biology Laboratory, Soil Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Lambung Mangkurat University. The research was conducted by collecting coffee grounds, making compost using different decomposers, analyzing the chemical quality of the compost, and finally conducting a questionnaire on the physical quality of the compost. The method used is quantitative and qualitative. The results showed that the addition of different decomposers affected the physical and chemical quality based on SNI 19-7030-2004. Based on the research results, the highest score in the chemical quality of coffee grounds compost was given by giving the types of decomposers EM4, BeKa Decomposer, Petro Galadiator, and M21. Decomposer Petro Gladiator showed mature compost in physical quality in coffee grounds waste compost.
