Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan intensitas cahaya yang optimal berdasarkan penentuan intensitas cahaya harian dan siklus  di alam. Selain itu hasil pengujian dimodelkan dalam instrumen simulasi yang diterapkan pada kultur plankton Chlorella sp. dalam skala laoratorium atau di ruang teratas. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Fakultas Perikanan dan Kelautan Universitas Lambung Mangkurat dengan waktu pemeliharaan selama 8 hari. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan rlakuan yang digunakan antara lain K (Tidak ada pemberian cahaya), A (Pemberian Cahaya Lampu 3 watt), B (Pemberian Cahaya Lampu 5 watt), C (Pemberian Cahaya Lampu 7 watt). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Pertumbuhan kelimpahan Chlorella sp. yang paling tinggi yaitu pada perlakuan C reratanya sebesar 45.46 x 104 sel/ml. perlakuan A dengan rerata kelimpahan 43.29 x 104 sel/ml perlakuan B dengan rerata kelimpahan 43.21 x 104 sel/ml dan terendah adalah perlakuan K dengan rerata kelimpahan 42.79 x 104 sel/ml. dan kelimpahan Chlorella sp. puncaknya terjadi pada hari kelima.

Abstract 

This study aims to determine the optimal light intensity based on the determination of the intensity and daily light cycle in nature. Furthermore, the test results are modeled into a simulation tool that is applied to the plankton cultivation of Chlorella sp. on a laboratory scale or in a confined space. This research was conducted at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Affairs, Lambung Mangkurat University with a maintenance time of 8 days. The design used in this study was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments used included K (no lighting), A (3 watts of light), B (5 watts of light), C (Giving Light Lamp 7 watts). The results showed that the density growth of Chlorella sp. the highest was in treatment C the average was 45.46 x 104 cells/ml. Furthermore, that is in treatment A density of Chlorella sp. 43.29 x 104 cells/ml. Furthermore, in treatment B density of Chlorella sp of 43.21 x 104 cells/ml and the lowest density is in treatment K density of Chlorella sp of 42.79 x 104 cells/ml. It was concluded the peak density occurred on the 5th day.
