The increasing of technology in the field of education invented many learning media that can help the online learning process during covid-19 pandemic. Most of ELESP students using zoom as their online learning media. Students perception in using zoom application as online learning media is important to be analyzed. Because, the researcher will know the impact of zoom application to them.

 The purpose of this study is to find out students’ perception on using zoom as online learning media during covid-19 pandemic. Whether they have positive perception or negative perception. 

This research used descriptive methods with the quantitative approach. The population of this research was ELESP Students of Lambung Mangkurat University and ELESP Students’ batch 2020 participated in this study se;ected by using random sampling. In gathering the data, the researcher distributed the questionnaire contains 30 items of statement which aim to find out students perception. In processing the data, the researcher used WPS office Sphreadsheet for analyzing the result of the questionnaire.

Based on the data of the analysis, there are some impacts that students got from zoom application. Such as, helping them in online learning, improving their knowledge, and improving their English skill. However, they still faced some obstacles. Such as, the space of their gadget run out, their internet data run out quickly and the speed of  their internet connection is low. most of the ELESP students of Lambung Mangkurat University have positive perception on using Zoom application as online learning media with the calculation of the result of the questionnaire is 75,5% which is in strongly agree category.

Learning is effective when there is interaction between teacher and student.  The teacher can use time wisely when doing online teaching, so that the internet data not run quickly. Students can delete some application or file that is not too important, so that your gadget has more space to make the zoom application run smoothly. For future research, the researcher hopes that the next researcher do research with a huge sample of not only one batch like batch 2020, but also another batch of campus students or based on their major so that you can get so many different perceptions that you can elaborate.
