This study uses the variables Capital Adequacy Ratio, Non Performing Loan, Loan to Deposit Ratio, Operating Expenditures to Operating Income, and Return on Assets. The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the effect of the variables Capital Adequacy Ratio, Non Performing Loan, Loan to Deposit Ratio, Operating Expenditures to Operating Income on profitability represented by Return on Assets as a measurement variable.
The data in this study used secondary data. The population in this study are conventional banking sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2017-2020, totaling 42 banks. Sampling in this study used purposive sampling method and the samples obtained were 28 companies in the banking sector. The data analysis method used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis method. This study uses the classical assumption test to test the quality of the data. Classical assumption test consists of normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and autocorrelation test.
The results of this study conclude that the Capital Adequacy Ratio variable has no significant effect on Return on Assets. Non-Performing Loans has no significant effect on Return on Assets. Loan to Deposit Ratio has a significant effect on Return on Assets. Operating Expenditures to Operating Income has a significant effect on Return on Assets.
