Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya perkembangan kemampuan sains anak, anak belum mampu mengetahui sebab akibat dari sautu peristiwa alam, anak belum mampu menceritakan sebab akibat dari suatu peristiwa alam, anak belum mampu mencerminkan sikap ingin tahunya. Hal ini disebabkan oleh penggunaan media yang variatif dan metode pembelajaran ceramah yang sering dilakukan. Upaya pemecahan masalah ini yaitu dengan menggunakan model Project Based Learning dengan metode Eksperimen. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru, mendeskripsikan aktivitas anak dan menganalisis hasil capaian perkembangan kemampuan sains anak.
Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), yang dilakukan sebanyak 2 kali siklus, dalam setiap siklusnya terdapat 2 kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian adalah kelompok B RA Larasati sebanyak 27 anak. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi aktivitas guru, aktivitas anak dan hasil capaian perkembangan. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas guru pada pertemuan 1 mendapat skor 19 dengan kategori “baik”, pada pertemuan 2 mendapatkan skor 21 dengan kategori “baik”, pada pertemuan 3 mendapat skor 26 dengan kategori “sangat baik” dan pada pertemuan 4 mendapat skor 27 dengan kriteria “sangat baik”. Aktivitas anak pada pertemuan 1 mencapai 44% dengan kategori “cukup aktif”, pada pertemuan 2 mencapai 63% dengan kategori “aktif” dan mengalami peningkatan pada pertemuan 3 yaitu mencapai 92% dengan kategori “sangat aktif” dan pada petemuan 4 mencapai 97% dengan kategori “sangat aktif”. Hasil perkembangan kemampuan sains anak pada pertemuan 1 terdapat 26% anak Berkembang Sesuai Harapan, pada pertemuan 2 terdapat 67% anak Berkembang Sesuai Harapan, pada pertemuan 3 terdapat 93% anak Berkembang Sangat Baik dan pada pertemuan 4 terdapat 97% anak Berkembang Sangat Baik.
Disimpulkan menggunakan model Project Based Learning dengan metode Eksperimen dapat mengoptimalkan aktivitas guru, aktivitas anak dan hasil capaian perkembangan kemampuan sains anak di kelompok B RA Larasati.

The problems in this study are the low development of children's scientific abilities, children have not been able to know the cause and effect of a natural event, children have not been able to tell the cause and effect of a natural event, children have not been able to reflect their curious attitude. This is caused by the use of varied media and lecture learning methods that are often done. Efforts to solve this problem are by using the Project Based Learning model with the Experimental method. The purpose of this learning is to describe teacher activities, describe children's activities and analyze the results of children's scientific ability development achievements.
The approach used is a qualitative approach with the type of Classroom Action Research (CAR), which is carried out in 2 cycles, in each cycle there are 2 meetings. The research subjects were group B RA Larasati with 27 children. The instrument used is an observation sheet on teacher activities, children's activities and developmental achievements. While the data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation.
The results of this study indicate that the teacher's activity at meeting 1 got a score of 19 with the "good" category, at meeting 2 got a score of 21 in the "good" category, at meeting 3 got a score of 26 in the "very good" category and at meeting 4 got a score of 27 with "very good" criteria. Children's activities at meeting 1 reached 44% in the "quite active" category, at meeting 2 it reached 63% in the "active" category and increased at meeting 3 which reached 92% in the "very active" category and at meeting 4 it reached 97% with the “very active” category. The results of the development of children's scientific abilities at meeting 1 there were 26% of children developing according to expectations, at meeting 2 there were 67% of children developing according to expectations, at meeting 3 there were 93% of children developing very well and at meeting 4 there were 97% of children developing very well.
It was concluded that using the Project Based Learning model with the Experimental method could optimize teacher activities, children's activities and the results of the achievement of children's scientific ability development in group B RA Larasati.
