ABSTRACT

Maira Ulfah 1810413120001 Utilization of Social Media in Government Communication and Information Case Study in Teluk Kepayang District, Tanah Bumbu Regency. Supervised by Arif Rahman Hakim. This study aims to determine Information Communication within the Teluk Kepayang District Government of Tanah Bumbu Regency and what are the factors that become obstacles in its implementation.

The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. Determination of informants using non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis in this study used data reduction flow, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.

The result of research using social media in communication and information administration in the gulf Kepayang district land seasoning according to Nurjaman and Umam (2021) and Permendagri number 70 years 2019 concluded that the delivery of his message through Whatsapp, in the packaging, oral communication, formal of communication and differences in this communication between the government has the village administration.

The author suggest to the subdistrict government the gul of Kepayang to prepare humas resources competent, improving communication with the government village, equity network infrastructure the internet and management of social media at Instagram better and updates.
