CV Berlian Jaya Mulia collaborates with CV Baramega Berkah Utama, where the former pit 2 CV Baramega Berkah Utama will be used as an inpit dump or backfill area, this aims to optimize reserves and disturbed areas due to mining. This is the reason for the research entitled "Mine Planning in Pit 1 Coal Mining at CV Berlian Jaya Mulia, Kecamatan Angsana, Kabupaten Tanah Bumbu, Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan" was carried out. Mine planning is supported from various interrelated aspects to achieve the production targets desired by the company. In this research, mining modeling and planning uses Surpac 7.2 software. From the data processing that has been carried out as a result of the design of pit 1, the amount of overburden that must be moved is 1,064,293.59 BCM. The estimated amount of coal tonnage obtained in the pit 1 design, namely seam A amounted to 32,314 tons and seam B 186,901 tons. With the first month sequence, the estimated stripping of overburden material is 527,329.86 BCM and Coal 38,581,049 tons. The second month sequence estimated material overburden of 199,384.58BCM and coal that can be produced of 153,703,671 tons. The third month sequence is estimated to overburden 337,579.16 BCM and coal 49,588,136 tons. From the cross-sectional model of pit 2 CV Baramega Berkah Utama, the amount of material volume that can be accommodated in pit 2 CV Bara Mega Berkah Utama amounts to 2,484,044.8 BCM.
