EFEK LAMA PENYIMPANAN WHOLE BLOOD AB+ TERHADAP KADAR HEMOGLOBIN DI BANK DARAH RSUD ULIN BANJARMASIN

Whole blood adalah komponen darah lengkap yang digunakan untuk keperluan transfusi. Hemoglobin merupakan salah satu komponen darah yang terdapat dalam whole blood. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis efek lama penyimpanan whole blood AB+terhadap kadar hemoglobin di Bank Darah RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimental dengan rancangan penelitian time series design. Jumlah sampel yang diteliti adalah 2 kantong whole blood.Variabel bebas adalah lama penyimpanan whole blood. Variabel terikat adalah kadar hemoglobin. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan pengukuran sebanyak tiga kali setiap pemeriksaan. Hasil penelitian didapatkan rerata total kadar hemoglobin pada hari ke-0 adalah 10,97 g/dL, hari ke-10 simpan 10,55 g/dL, dan hari ke-20 simpan 10,02 g/dL dengan persentase penurunan hari 0-10 adalah 0,04%, hari 0-20 adalah 0,09% dan hari 10-20 adalah 0,05%. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara umum tidak ada pengaruh lama penyimpanan whole blood AB+ terhadap kadar hemoglobin selama penyimpanan 20 hari dalam suhu 2⁰-6⁰C, sehingga untuk transfusi masih dapat digunakan, namun tetap saja lebih diutamakan memilih darah segar (fresh blood).

EFFECT OF WHOLE BLOOD AB + STORAGE DURATION TO HEMOGLOBIN LEVEL IN BLOOD BANK IN HOSPITAL BANJARMASIN

Whole blood is a complete component of blood used for transfusion. Hemoglobin is a component of the blood available in whole blood. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of storage of whole blood AB + on hemoglobin levels in the Blood Bank of Ulin Hospital Banjarmasin. This study used the quasi experimental method with a time series design research design. The number of samples studied were 2 bags of whole blood. The independent variable is the length of storage of whole blood. The dependent variable is hemoglobin level. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with measurements three times. The results showed that the average total hemoglobin level on day 0 was 10.97 g / dL, 10th day saved 10.55 g / dL, and the 20th day saved 10.02 g / dL with a decrease in the percentage of days 0- 10 is 0.04%, days 0-20 are 0.09% and days 10-20 are 0.05%. From the results of the study it can be concluded that in general there is no effect on the storage of whole blood AB + on hemoglobin levels during storage of 20 days at a temperature of 20-60C, so that transfusion can still be used, but still preferably choose fresh blood.
