A lot of people who do not speak English as their first language will possess the difficulties of speaking, exclusively for the students. Along these lines, the number one motivation behind this research is to reveal in what factors that are affecting in the understudies' troubles in communicating in English. This research was done at eleventh grade students of Teknik Komputer & Jaringan Department of SMKN 1 Gambut. 60 eleventh grade in convenience undergraduate in academic year 2017/2018 were involved in this study as the population. Samples are thirty six students and this research using qualitative method. The data collected by using questionnaire consisted of thirty questions and the researcher divide into four groups and the interview was collected by interviewing 10 students to clarify the questionnaire result. The questions were consisted of 10 items of question. questionnaire was processed in a way that qualitative descriptive research done to find out the difficulties of students in SMK gambut. Likert scale also used to get the level of difficulties and to make percentage of difficulties the researcher made transcriptions for interview and analyze to see the match of the answer with questionnaire. Result are described by the researcher to details about the difficulties that students faced in speaking skills abilities.
