ABSTRAK
GAMBARAN KADAR KALSIUM TOTAL DAN VITAMIN D PADA ANAK SINDROM NEFROTIK DI RSUD ULIN BANJARMASIN
Nurul Muth Mainnah

ABSTRACT
An Overview of The Total Calcium and Vitamin D Levels in Children With Nephrotic Syndrome at Ulin General Hospital Banjarmasin
Nurul Muth Mainnah
Complications nephrotic syndrome (NS) include hypocalcaemia and vitamin D deficiency. That are due to increased glomerular permeability of protein. This study aimed to describe the total calcium and vitamin D levels in children with relapse NS, steroid-dependent NS and steroid-resistant NS (SRNS) at Ulin General Hospital Banjarmasin on January 2017-August 2018. This research method with a retrospective cross-sectional approach. There were 21 subjects consisted of relapse NS (38.1%), steroid dependent NS (33.3%) and SRNS (28.6%) were selected by purposive sampling according to inclusion criteria. The results of the study on NS children at Ulin General Hospital Banjarmasin were found to have a mean total calcium levels of 9.35±1.55 mg/dL and a mean vitamin D levels of 19.85±8.79 ng/mL. Furthermore, the mean total calcium levels in relapse NS was 9.43±1.72 mg/dL, steroid dependent NS 9.46±1.29 mg/dL and SRNS 9.12±1.83 mg/dL and the mean vitamin D levels in relapsed NS 19.56±6.17 ng/mL, steroid-dependent NS 21.73±10.46 ng/mL, SRNS 18.03±10.79 ng/mL. It can be concluded that in children with relapse NS , steroid-dependent NS and SRNS at Ulin General Hospital Banjarmasin have a normal mean total calcium levels and decreased a mean of vitamin D levels.
