Peat soils are notoriously difficult to manage for agricultural purposes due to their high organic matter content, high cation exchange capacity, low availability of Nitrogen (N), Phosphor (P), Potassium (K), Calsium (Ca), Magnesium (Mg), Boron (B), and large amounts of organic acids that lower the pH of peat soils. Use of alkaline coal ash, which is rich in Calsium (Ca), Magnesium (Mg), Zinc (Zn), Potassium (K), and Phosphor (P), may enhance peat soil. A single-factor Complete Randomized Design (RAL) approach was used in the investigation. The treatment that was carried out included the application of coal ash in dosages of (10, 15, and 30 t.ha-1) and not to mention the lack of coal ash application (control). Twenty experimental units will be produced from is procedure, as each of them is repeated five times. This research was carried out in the Greenhouse of the Department of Soil and the Laboratory of Chemistry and Physics of the Department of Soil, Faculty of Agriculture, Lambung Mangkurat University, Banjarbaru. The results of the study showed that the treatment with a dose of 30 t.ha-1 gave the best results on soil pH (6.49) and soil Eh (234.80 mV). The administration of treatment with a dose of 10 t.ha-1 was sufficient to give the best results in Fe-Soluble (1.96 ppm Fe Fe), cation exchange capacity (51.93 cmol(+) kg-1), and Ca-dd (5.50 cmol(+) kg-1).
