Abstrak

Hutan mangrove adalah wilayahyangberbatasanantaralautandandaratanyangmenjadikanhutanmangroveberpengaruh terhadap faktor lingkungan berupa iklim, pasang surut air laut dancurahhujan. Halinimenjadikanhutanmangrovememilikifungsiekologismaupun ekonomi yang digunakan sebagai kelangsungan hidup organisme yangberadadidaerahmangrove.  Kepitingbakau untuk kehidupannya berhubungan denganekosistem mangrove sebagaitempat tinggalnya. Metode yang digunakan adalahpurpossivesamplingberdasarkanvegetasi dengan kerapatan sangat padat, sedang, danjarang. Pengambilan sampel pada3 titik Stasiun dan setiap Stasiun terdiri dari 3 plot. Dimana Stasiun I terletak pada mangrove yang sedang, Stasiun II terletak pada mangrove yang jarang, Stasiun IIIterletakpadamangroveyang Sangat padat. PenelitiandilakukanpadabulanDesember- Juli2024dikawasanekosistemDesa Pagatan Besar Kabupaten Tanah Laut. Hasil pengukuran kerapatan mangrove tertinggi pada Stasiun III di dominasi oleh jenis mangrove Rhizopora apiculata dan Rhizophora stylosa kerapatan mangrove terendah pada Stasiun II di dominasi oleh jenis mangrove Rhizopora apiculata, Jenis kepiting bakau yang ditemukan yaitu jenis Scylla serrata. Kelimpahan tertinggi terdapat di Stasiun III dan kelimpahan terendah pada Stasiun II dengan kerapatan mangrove kategori jarang dan Hubungan kerapatan mangrove terhadap kelimpahan kepiting bakau termasuk kategori kuat.

Abstract

Mangrove forests are areas that border the ocean and land, which makes mangrove forests affect environmental factors such as climate, tides and rainfall. This makes mangrove forests have ecological and economic functions that are used as the survival of organisms in mangrove areas.  Mangrove crabs for their lives are associated with mangrove ecosystems as a place to live. The method used is purposive sampling based on vegetation with very dense, medium, and sparse density. Sampling at 3 station points and each station consists of 3 plots. Where Station I is located in a moderate mangrove, Station II is located in a sparse mangrove, Station III is located in a very dense mangrove. The research was conducted in December - July 2024 in the ecosystem area of Pagatan Besar Village, Tanah Laut Regency. The results of the highest mangrove density measurements at Station III were dominated by Rhizopora apiculata and Rhizophora stylosa mangrove species, the lowest mangrove density at Station II was dominated by Rhizopora apiculata mangrove species, the type of mangrove crab found was Scylla serrata. The highest abundance was found at Station III and the lowest abundance at Station II with a sparse category of mangrove density and the relationship between mangrove density and mangrove crab abundance included a strong category.
