Abstract

The purpose of pickleball socialization is to disseminate pickleball and provide an understanding of howtoplaypickleballcorrectlyandtoincreaseteenagers' awarenessoftheimportanceofexercising. Qualitativedescriptiveresearch method intheform ofsocialization.Studentstotaled87samplesfrom classes VII to IX and 3 sports teachers. Socialization activities use random sampling techniques. The process is sorted into several stages, there are the preparation stage, the implementation stage andthe evaluation stage. As a result, the implementation team found several positive responses from students that their desire to know pickleball is very high. It can be seen in the enthusiasm of students when following the entire series from the beginning to the end of the activity. It can be concluded that students or sports teachers already know in general about pickleball sports and are able to practice the basic techniques of playing pickleball and know the standard rules of pickleball sports correctly.

Abstrak

Tujuan sosialiasi pickleball yaitu menyebarluaskan pickleball dan memberikan pemahaman tentang cara bermain pickleball dengan benar serta untuk meningkatkan kesadaran anak remaja pentingnya berolahraga. Metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dalam bentuk sosialisasi. Peserta didik berjumlah sebanyak 87 sampel dari kelas VII hingga IX dan 3 guru olahraga. Kegiatan sosialisasi memakai teknik random sampling. Prosesnya di pilah menjadi beberapa tahapan ada tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan serta tahap evaluasi. Hasilnya tim pelaksana menemukan beberapa hal positif tanggapan dari siswa bahwa keinginan tahu mereka terhadap olahraga pickleball sangat tinggi. Dapat di lihat pada antusiasme siswa dan siswi ketika mengikuti seluruh rangkaian dari awal hingga akhir kegiatan. Simpulkan bahwa siswa atau guru olahraga sudah mengetahui secara umum tentang olahraga pickleball serta mampu mempraktekan teknik dasar bermain pickleball dan mengetahui peraturanbaku olahraga pickleball dengan benar.
