Student worksheets are sheets that contain brief material and tasks to be completed by students. It can be used to check students' understanding after learning a material. In Banjarmasin, some high schools still use worksheets in the teaching and learning process. Besides containing many tasks, it can also be used by students to study independently at home or school. The problem of this study is to find out whether the English worksheets used by the seventh-grade students at SMPN 27 Banjarmasin follow the criteria for good worksheets.

The objects of this research are two English worksheets used by the seventh-grade students for the first and second semesters. This research is a descriptive qualitative which is categorized as a content analysis study. The data are collected by analysing the worksheet using the checklist containing the criteria of a good worksheet. The analysis is done on four aspects of the worksheet, namely material, language used, presentation of the material, and graphics.

              The result shows that the quality of the content in both worksheets is considered good. In the material aspect, what needs to be improved is the presentation of the material which is too short and the lack of examples. The quality of the language can be said to be good. Simple and understandable language is employed. Packed with concept maps and numerous exercises, the presentation of material gives students ample opportunity to practice every ability. Of all aspects, the most lacking is the graphics due to the lack of colour combinations and illustrations.
