As energy needs increase worldwide, research on alternative energy sources continues to grow. One energy source that is attracting attention is seawater batteries, which have great potential as an environmentally friendly energy solution and energy storage. The use of this alternative energy source can be done through the electrochemical cell method. This electrochemical cell is able to produce electric current from the energy obtained from the reactions in the cell, namely reduction and oxidation reactions. Electrochemical cells can be voltaic cells or electrolysis cells. Therefore, the authors would like to conduct further research on the effect of salinity on the performance of seawater batteries with several electrode alloys. this research was conducted by conducting trials on the utilization of seawater as a battery power source with variations of seawater on the beaches of Tanjung Dewa, Batakan, and Tabanio with Zn-MnO2/C, Al-Cu, Zn-Cu electrode alloys using the electrochemical cell method. the results showed statistically significant differences in average voltage between the seawater of Tabanio Beach and Batakan Beach. The average voltage generated from the Tabanio Beach seawater electrolyte is 61.11 volts lower than the Batakan Beach seawater. The best battery performance is at 28.8 ppt salinity (Tanjung dewa beach seawater) and The most optimal electrode alloy is a composite of Activated Carbon and Manganese (IV) Oxide (Mno2/C) with the highest voltage of 1260 mV and current strength of  650 mA.
