South Kalimantan Province is planning to develop a metropolitan area that includes Banjarmasin city, Banjarbaru City, parts of Banjar Regency, Barito Kuala Regency and Tanah Laut Regency with the name “Banjarbakula Metropolitan”. This research aims to analyze regional financial performance in Banjarbakula with an analytical focus on the Regional Original Income Effectiveness Ratio, Regional Original Income Ratio, Capital Expwnditure Rati, SiLPA Ratio. This research method uses a quantitative descriptive research type involving secondary, data originating from the Ministry of Finance’s APBD dan TKDD data. Financal Ratios are calculated and analyzed to understand financial performance trends in that period and then become a reference for formulating strategies to increase the Regional Original Oncome Ratio. The results of the analysis show that the regions in Banjarbakula have an effectiveness ratio of original regional income an average, there are three districts/cities that are classified as very effective and two other district/city are classified as less, one city is classified as adequate, three district/cities are classified as moderate. They city is classified as deficient and one district is classified as very deficient, the Capital Expenditure Ratio has not yet reached the criteria and the SiLPA Ratio still jas budget calculations remaining from that period.
