Students undertaking thesis writing often encounter various challenges, encompassing a spectrum of issues from grappling with the comprehension of the research problem to grappling with limited scholarly references, comprehending theoretical frameworks, initiating the writing process, managing occupational commitments, and more. This research aims to dissect the obstacles faced by students during thesis composition. Employing a descriptive qualitative research methodology, this study adopts a literature review approach. Specifically, it entails a thorough examination of 20 journals retrieved through keyword searches such as "Students Problem,Writing Thesis,Factor,Difficulty" across various academic databases including Google Scholar, ScienceGate, and ResearchDirect. From the synthesized findings, it is apparent that the predominant challenges encountered by students revolve around generating ideas for their final assignments, honing their skills in scholarly writing, and procuring pertinent literature sources. Addressing these hurdles necessitates fostering a culture of regular scholarly writing among students and cultivating their proficiency in sourcing and reviewing academic materials,in the form of books and articles.
