Theregionalecologicalenvironmenthasbecomeasignificantsubjectofstudyduetothe                 dynamicsoftheecosystem,whichisrepresentedbyvegetation,undertheinfluenceof  humanactivities.Theobjectiveofthisresearchistodemonstratetheimplementationand effectivenessoftheForestCanopyDensity(FCD)modelingeneratingamapthatillustrates changesinforestcanopydensityusingmultitemporalremotesensingdatainTabunio watershed.   Themethodologyreliesonvegetation   index,includingtheNormalized  DifferenceVegetationIndex(NDVI),shadowindex(SI),andbaresoilindex(BI),to  generateacompositevegetationindex(CVI).FCDusesmultitemporalremotesensingdata  fromLandsatTMimagesfrom2005to2020,whichhavebeenutilizedtoaccomplishmulti-ourcecategorization.ThefindingsindicatedthatthevegetationcoverageoftheTabunio watershedpresentedapredominantpatternofhighcoverageinthenortheasternandeastern regions,whereasmostareasofthewesternregionhadlowcoverage;(2)vegetationcover  from2005to2020isdominatedbysparseto  verydensevegetationcoverclasses;(3) changesinvegetationcoverovertwodecadesareverysignificant.Theexpansionof  plantationlandin2005causedalotofnon-vegetatedland,whichgraduallychangedinthe followingyearperiodalongwithplantgrowth.Attheendof2020,thepercentageofvery  densevegetationbecame increasinglydominant,whichwasaround 42percent.Theresulte of   thestudyindicatethethreebiophysicalindex(NDVI,SI,andBI)usedinthismodel  approachwereappropriateforpreciselydiscriminatingacrossallcanopydensityclasses,as seenbytheoverallproducer'saccuracyof81.3%.FCDmodelinmultitemporaldatacan helpsintheearlyidentificationofdeforestationorforestdegradationactivities.Furthermore,  theFCDmodelmayhavecertainconstraints,asitrequiresanunderstandingofground  conditionstoestablishthresholdvaluesforeachclass.
