Kematangan gonad ikan Papuyu(Anabas testudineus, Bloch) dapat dimanipulasi dan dipercepat dengan memberikan suntikan hormon dari luar.Salah satu hormon yang dapat digunakan dalam manipulasi hormonal adalah Oocyte Developer (OODEV). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh oodev terhadap pematangan gonad calon induk ikan papuyu dan dosis terbaik oodev terhadap pakan untuk pematangan gonad ikan papuyu. Penelitian ini memakai Rancangan Acak Langkap dengan 3 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Induk ikan Papuyu diberi dengan dosis oodev yang berbeda pakan. Perlakuan A (1,5 ml/kg), B (2,0 ml/kg), dan C (2,5 ml/kg). Diketahui bahwa kisaran rerata Tingkat Kematangan Gonad (TKG) yaitu III-V, Indeks Gonado Somatik (IGS) berkisar 5,27-11,65%, Indeks Hepato Somatik (IHS) berkisar 0,51 -3,62 %, fekunditas berkisar 6.766- 20.033 butir dan diameter telur berkisar 430,89-530,03 μm.

ABSTRACT

The gonad maturity of Papuyu fish (Anabas testudineus, Bloch) can be manipulated and accelerated by giving external hormone injections. One of the hormones that can be used in hormonal manipulation is Oocyte Developer (OODEV). This research aims to determine the effect of oodev on the gonad maturation of prospective broodstock papuyu fish and the best dose of oodev on feed for gonad maturation of papuyu fish. This research used a completely randomized design Design with 3 treatments and 3 replications. Papuyu fish broodstock were given different doses of Oodev feed. Treatments A (1.5 ml/kg), B (2.0 ml/kg), and C (2.5 ml/kg). It is known that the average range of Gonad Maturity Level (TKG) is III-V, Somatic Gonado Index (IGS) ranges from 5.27-11.65%, Hepato Somatic Index (IHS) ranges from 0.51 -3.62%, fecundity ranges from 6,766 - 20,033 eggs and egg diameter ranges from 430.89 to 530.03 μm.
