Decreased productivity edamame can overcome by using organic fertilizer to increase soil fertility and provide nutrients plants. Bokashi is organic fertilizer that improves the physical, chemical and biological properties of soil. kiambang can be used material for bokashi making. Furthermore, the presence of ants also plays an important fo Ecosystem engineer or Soil engineer in helping improve soil fertility, ant can be use bioindicators and predators on agricultural ecosystems. So it was necessary to investigate the identification of the family Formicidae on organic edamame using bokashi fertilizer so that the role of the formicidae family in the farming environment could be known. This study uses the random group plan (RAK) with the treatment given is a bokashi kiambang of 5 (five) levels of treatment. Each treatment was repeated five times, resulting in 25 trial units. Based of the research identified ants on edamame land with application of bokashi fertilizer kiambang in Mount Kupang, Cempaka district, Banjarbaru, obtained ants such as yellow mad ants (Anoplolepis gracilipes), black ants (Dolichoderus sp.), and fire ants (Solenopsis Invicta). The results observations showed of bokashi kiambang differs significantly from the amount and density of ants at harvest, with best treatment doses 20 t ha-1 (k4) and 15 t ha-1, with an average 24-26 ants at a depth of 0-15 cm, but no significant effect at depths 15-30 cm. Ant density parameters, soil temperature, and ground water 0-15 cm and 15-30 cm depths indicate bokashi does not give any real effect before planting and during harvest.
