Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peran auditor pada Kantor Inspektorat Kabupaten Kotabaru Kalimantan Selatan. Memberikan manfaat bagi auditor Inspektorat untuk lebih mendalami perannya di Inspektorat dan bagi akademisi sebagai rferensi untuk penelitian selanjutnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa peran auditor pada kantor Inspektorat Kabupaten Kotabaru Kalimantan Selatan terdapat 2 kegiatan yaitu, peran assurance dan peran consulting. Peran Assurance yaitu melakukan kegiatan berupa audit, reviu, monitoring, dan evaluasi. Peran konsulting, yaitu pemberian saran tentang aktivitas organisasi yang telah disepakati untuk meningkatkan nilai dan pengendalian risiko serta proses tata kelola, seperti konsultasi, saran, fasilitasi, dan pelatihan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the role of auditors at the Kotabaru District Inspectorate Office, South Kalimantan. Providing benefits for Inspectorate auditors to deepen their role in the Inspectorate and for academics as a reference for further research. The research results show that the role of auditors at the South Kalimantan Kotabaru Regency Inspectorate office has 2 activities, namely, the assurance role and the consulting role. Assurance's role is to carry out activities in the form of audits, reviews, monitoring and evaluation. Consulting role, namely providing advice on agreed organizational activities to increase value and control risks as well as governance processes, such as consultation, advice, facilitation and training.
