This research aims to determine the influence of the Population Dependency Ratio, Composite Indicators of Human Development, and Central Government Transfers on Economic Growth in South Kalimantan Province. This research also aims to see how strategic optimization can be carried out. This research uses a panel data research method, namely a combination of cross-section data and time series data. The data used is panel data from 2010-2023.

The results of the research show that the Population Dependency Ratio has a partial effect on economic growth with a probability value of 0.0058, Life Expectancy has no partial effect on economic growth with a probability value of 0.7639, Expected Years of Schooling has a partial impact on economic growth with a value probability of 0.0116, Decent Living Standards have no effect on economic development with a probability value of 0.1507 and Central Government Transfers have a partial effect on economic growth. However, simultaneously the Population Dependency Ratio, Composite Indicator of Human Development, and Central Government Transfers have an overall effect on Economic Growth with a probability value of 0.000002.

In addition, the government needs to implement policies that can support sustainable economic growth and positively impact aspects of research.
