Clean water treatment done by combining physical and chemical aspect like coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation and filtration that need chemical coagulant. PTAM Bandarmasih used coagulant known as PAC/Poly Aluminium Chloride (Al₂(OH₅)Cl), making byproduct such as sludge waste that contain Aluminium (from the use of PAC), also sludge come from sedimentation of soil erosion that carried by the river flow. Sludge can be used as growing media by giving organic matter that increase the fertility of the soil. This research purpose is aiming to know the effect of organic matter application to sludge on increasing and improving the pH, organic carbon, available nitrogen, phosphor, and exchangable potassium. Method that used in this research is completely randomized design with one factor, treating solid sludge waste with chicken manure, cow manure, water hyacinth, and water lettuce, with dosage of 2 t ha^-1 and 4 t ha^-1. Result of the research showed that application of organic matter had effect on improving organic carbon, available nitrogen, phosphor, and exchangable potassium, however having a non significant effect on increasing the pH of solid sludge.
