Abstrak
Burung puyuh merupakan sumber protein yang tidak kalah tingginya dibandingkan dengan ayam, oleh karena itu pengembangannya lebih diarahkan kepada produksi daging yang banyak dan cepat sehingga mampu memenuhi permintaan konsumen. Kelor yang mudah dibudidayakan dengan kandungan nutrisi yang tinggi diharapkan dapat dimanfaatkan dalam pakan puyuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tingkat pemberian tepung daun kelor dalam ransum terhadap peningkatan pertumbuahn dan persentase giblet Burung Puyuh. Burung puyuh yang digunakan umur 1 hari sebanyak 100 ekor. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan, dimana setiap ulangan terdiri dari 5 ekor burung puyuh dalam satu petak kandang sehingga jumlah Burung Puyuh yang digunakan adalah 100 ekor. Ransum perlakuan terdiri dari 4 taraf penambahan tepung daun kelor yaitu a). 0% (P0) b). 4% (P1) c). 8% (P2) d). 12% (P3). Peubah yang diamati adalah bobot potong, pertambahan bobot badan, konsumsi ransum, feed conversion rasio, presentase karkas, dan giblet. Hasil yang diperoleh berturut turut dari perlakuan P0; P1; P2; P3 adalah: rata-rata bobot potong 110,8, 111,1, 112,6, 111,8, rata-rata presentase karkas 67,25, 64, 73,0, 70,5, rata-rata prsentase hati 2,02, 2,04, 2,07, 1,99, rata-rata presentase jantung 0,36, 0,35, 0,37, 0,32, rata-rata prsentase rampela 1,80, 1,81, 1,83, 1,81. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa perbedaan tingkat pemberian tepung daun kelor 4 – 12% dalam ransum puyuh selama 8 minggu memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap peningkatan bobot potong dan persentase karkas dari perlakuan dibanding kontrol. Sementara untuk persentase komponen giblet mampu mempertahankan persentase jantung, namun meningkatkan bobot dan persentase komponrn hati dan rempela (gizard). Perlakuan terbaik dicapai pada perlakuan tingkat penambahan tepung daun kelor sebesar 8% (P2) pada peubah bobot potong, persentase karkas dengan sedikit kecenderungan peningkatan pada persentase hati dan rempela.

Abstrak
Quail is a source of protein that is no less high than chicken, therefore its development is more directed towards the production of meat that is large and fast so that it can meet consumer demand. Moringa which is easy to cultivate with high nutritional content is expected to be utilized in quail feed. This study aims to determine the effect of the level of provision of moringa leaf flour in the ration on increasing the growth and percentage of quail giblets. The quails used were 1 day old as many as 100 birds. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replicates, where each replicate consisted of 5 quails in one cage plot so that the number of quails used was 100 quails. The treatment ration consisted of 4 levels of moringa flour addition, namely a). 0% (P0) b). 4% (P1) c). 8% (P2) d). 12% (P3). The observed variables were slaughter weight, body weight gain, ration consumption, feed conversion ratio, carcass percentage, and giblets. . The results obtained respectively from the treatment P0; P1; P2; P3 are: average slaughter weight 110.8, 111.1, 112.6, 111.8, average carcass percentage 67.25, 64, 72.5, 70.5, average liver percentage 67.25, 64.00, 72.50, 70.50, average heart percentage 0.375, 0.355, 0.405, 0.325, average rampela percentage 1.805, 1.955, 2.155, 2.005. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the different levels of moringa leaf flour 4-12% in quail rations for 8 weeks had a significant effect on increasing the slaughter weight and carcass percentage of the treatment compared to the control. While the percentage of giblet components was able to maintain the percentage of heart, but increased the weight and percentage of liver and gizzard components. The best treatment was achieved in the treatment of moringa flour addition level of 8% (P2) on the variables of slaughter weight, carcass percentage with a slight increasing trend in the percentage of liver and gizzard.
