PRODUKTIVITAS HASIL TANGKAPAN BAGAN TANCAP (STATIONARY LIFT NET) DI DESA SARANG TIUNG KECAMATAN PULAU LAUT SIGAM KABUPATEN KOTABARU PROVINSI KALIMANTAN SELATAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan alat tangkap bagan tancap, menganalisis komposisi dan proporsi hasil tangkapan, serta mengetahui produktivitas hasil tangkapan bagan tancap di Desa Sarang Tiung, Kecamatan Pulau Laut Sigam, Kabupaten Kotabaru, Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober sampai Desember 2025 dengan metode observasi langsung dan wawancara terhadap nelayan bagan tancap. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada dua unit bagan tancap selama sepuluh kali trip penangkapan. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi konstruksi dan pengoperasian alat tangkap, jenis dan jumlah hasil tangkapan, serta waktu operasi penangkapan. Analisis produktivitas dilakukan dengan membandingkan total hasil tangkapan dengan waktu operasi penangkapan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komposisi hasil tangkapan didominasi oleh ikan pelagis kecil, yaitu ikan tembang (Sardinella fimbriata), ikan teri (Stolephorus sp), cumi-cumi (Loligo sp), dan ikan selar kuning (Selaroides leptolepis). Produktivitas bagan tancap bervariasi pada setiap trip, dengan nilai produktivitas bagan tancap pertama sebesar 0,51 kg/menit dan bagan tancap kedua sebesar 0,53 kg/menit. Perbedaan produktivitas dipengaruhi oleh kondisi cuaca, umur bulan, serta lamanya waktu perendaman jaring. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bagan tancap di Desa Sarang Tiung masih tergolong produktif dan berpotensi untuk dikembangkan sebagai perikanan tangkap skala rakyat.

PRODUCTIVITY OF STATIONARY LIFT NET (BAGAN TANCAP) CATCH IN SARANG TIUNG VILLAGE, PULAU LAUT SIGAM DISTRICT, KOTABARU REGENCY, SOUTH KALIMANTAN PROVINCE

This study aimed to describe the stationary lift net fishing gear, analyze the composition and proportion of catch, and determine the productivity of stationary lift nets in Sarang Tiung Village, Pulau Laut Sigam District, Kotabaru Regency, South Kalimantan Province. The research was conducted from October to December 2025 using direct observation and interview methods with stationary lift net fishermen. Data were collected from two stationary lift net units during ten fishing trips. The collected data included fishing gear construction and operation, catch composition and quantity, and fishing operation time. Productivity analysis was carried out by comparing total catch with fishing operation time. The results showed that the catch composition was dominated by small pelagic species, namely fringescale sardine (Sardinella fimbriata), anchovy (Stolephorus sp), squid (Loligo sp), and yellowstripe scad (Selaroides leptolepis). The productivity of stationary lift nets varied among trips, with productivity values of 0.51 kg/min for the first unit and 0.53 kg/min for the second unit. Differences in productivity were influenced by weather conditions, lunar phases, and net soaking duration. This study indicates that stationary lift nets in Sarang Tiung Village are still productive and have potential to be developed as small-scale capture fisheries.
