Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemberian pupuk organik cair (POC) NASA terhadap pertumbuhan semai Gaharu (Aquilaria malaccensis) pada berbagai konsentrasi. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan lima perlakuan konsentrasi POC NASA (0 ml/l, 2 ml/l, 4 ml/l, 6 ml/l, dan 8 ml/l) yang masing-masing diulang sepuluh kali. Parameter pertumbuhan yang diamati meliputi persentase hidup, pertambahan tinggi, jumlah daun, dan diameter batang bibit selama 12 minggu pengamatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh bibit gaharu pada setiap perlakuan memiliki tingkat kelangsungan hidup sebesar 100%, yang menunjukkan kondisi media tanam dan lingkungan tumbuh sangat mendukung. Pemberian POC NASA berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertambahan tinggi dan jumlah daun bibit. Perlakuan terbaik terdapat pada konsentrasi 6 ml/l (A3), dengan rata-rata pertambahan tinggi dan jumlah daun tertinggi dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya, serta berbeda sangat nyata berdasarkan uji ANOVA dan uji lanjut DMRT. Namun, pertambahan diameter batang bibit tidak menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antar perlakuan, meskipun secara visual konsentrasi 6 ml/l tetap memberikan pertambahan diameter yang paling tinggi. hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan pupuk organik cair NASA dengan konsentrasi 6 ml/l memberikan hasil pertumbuhan semai gaharu yang paling optimal, khususnya pada fase awal pertumbuhan vegetatif. Pemberian pupuk cair ini mampu meningkatkan ketersediaan unsur hara, memperbaiki struktur media tanam, dan mempercepat proses fisiologis tanaman seperti fotosintesis dan pembelahan sel. Oleh karena itu, pemanfaatan POC NASA pada konsentrasi optimal dapat direkomendasikan dalam pembibitan gaharu guna mendukung konservasi dan pengembangan budidaya tanaman bernilai tinggi ini secara berkelanjutan.

This study aims to analyze the effect of NASA liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) application on the growth of agarwood (Aquilaria malaccensis) seedlings at various concentrations. A Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was employed, consisting of five treatment levels of NASA LOF concentrations (0 ml/l, 2 ml/l, 4 ml/l, 6 ml/l, and 8 ml/l), each replicated ten times. The observed growth parameters included survival rate, height increment, number of leaves, and stem diameter over a 12-week observation period. The results showed that all agarwood seedlings in each treatment exhibited a 100% survival rate, indicating that the growing media and environmental conditions were highly supportive. The application of NASA LOF significantly affected the height increment and number of leaves. The best performance was observed at the 6 ml/l concentration (A3), which resulted in the highest average height increment and number of leaves compared to other treatments, with statistically significant differences based on ANOVA and further analysis using DMRT. However, stem diameter growth did not show significant differences among treatments, although visually, the 6 ml/l concentration still produced the greatest diameter growth. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the application of NASA liquid organic fertilizer at a concentration of 6 ml/l yields the most optimal growth of agarwood seedlings, particularly during the early vegetative phase. This liquid fertilizer enhances nutrient availability, improves the physical structure of the growing media, and accelerates key physiological processes such as photosynthesis and cell division. Therefore, the use of NASA LOF at the optimal concentration is recommended for agarwood seedling cultivation to support sustainable conservation and development of this high-value species.
