ABSTRAK

HAYATI. 2026. “Analisis Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja di PT. Bara Pramulya Abadi Kabupaten Tabalong”. Skripsi, Program Studi Kehutanan Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. Pembimbing: Dr. Adi Rahmadi, S.Hut, M.T. dan Dr. Ir. Zainal Abidin, M.P.

ABSTRACT

HAYATI. 2026. “Analysis of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) at PT Bara Pramulya Abadi Tabalong Regency”. Thesis, Forestry Study Program, Lambung Mangkurat University. Supervisors: Dr. Adi Rahmadi, S.Hut, M.T. and Dr. Ir. Zainal Abidin, M.P.

This study aims to analyze OHS implementation, worker awareness levels, and nursery operational effectiveness at PT Bara Pramulya Abadi (PT BPA) within the framework of forest reclamation. The research employs a mixed-method approach involving observations, questionnaires, and in-depth interviews, with data analyzed using Gap Analysis. The results indicate that OHS implementation generally falls into the "Fair" category (66%–72.5%). However, significant gaps exist in supporting facilities, specifically the absence of standardized ambulances and a high frequency of property damage (3–4 incidents per month) due to low-quality Daily Inspection (P2H) procedures. Worker awareness remains procedural; while employees understand safety rules cognitively, they lack consistency in application without supervision. Conversely, nursery implementation shows excellent performance (88%) with the production of 26,000 seedlings, exceeding the 15-hectare revegetation target. Nevertheless, the nursery unit is constrained by limited technical personnel and infrequent weed control. In conclusion, while technical reclamation targets are successfully achieved, OHS management requires strengthening in medical infrastructure, inspection quality, and the internalization of a safety culture. Primary recommendations include procuring mining-standard ambulances, auditing P2H compliance, and increasing nursery staff to ensure sustainable seedling maintenance.
