Abstrak

Riset ini bertujuan buat mengenali kelimpahan serta keanekaragaman bivalvia, kerapatan mangrove, dan ikatan antara kelimpahan bivalvia dengan kerapatan mangrove pada ekosistem mangrove di Desa Kuala Tambangan, Kecamatan Takisung, Kabupaten Tanah Laut. Riset dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari– Mei 2026 memakai tata cara purposive sampling pada 3 stasiun pengamatan. Hasil riset menampilkan kalau tipe bivalvia yang ditemui cuma satu spesies, ialah Geloina sp. Kelimpahan bivalvia pada stasiun 1 sebesar 2 ind/ 100 m², stasiun 2 sebesar 3 ind/ 100 m², serta stasiun 3 sebesar 2 ind/ 100 m². Nilai indeks keanekaragaman bivalvia pada stasiun 1 serta 3 sebesar 0, 29, sebaliknya pada stasiun 2 sebesar 0, 43, yang tercantum jenis sangat rendah. Tipe mangrove yang ditemui terdiri atas Rhizophora mucronata, Rhizophora apiculata, Xylocarpus granatum, serta nipah. Kerapatan mangrove pada stasiun 1 sebesar 2066, 67 ind/ ha serta stasiun 2 sebesar 1633, 33 ind/ ha tercantum jenis sangat padat, sebaliknya stasiun 3 sebesar 1066, 67 ind/ ha tercantum jenis lagi. Ikatan antara kelimpahan bivalvia serta kerapatan mangrove menampilkan nilai koefisien korelasi R²= 0, 0059 yang mengindikasikan ikatan sangat rendah serta tidak signifikan. Dengan demikian, kenaikan kerapatan mangrove tidak membagikan pengaruh yang berarti terhadap kelimpahan bivalvia di posisi riset.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the abundance and diversity of bivalves, mangrove density, and the relationship between bivalves abundance and mangrove density in the mangrove ecosystem in Kuala Tambangan Village, Takisung District, Tanah Laut Regency. The research was conducted from February to May 2026 using a purposive sampling method at three observation stations. The results showed that only one species of bivalves was found, namely Geloina sp. The abundance of bivalves at station 1 was 2 individuals/100 m², at station 2 3 individuals/100 m², and at station 3 2 individuals/100 m². The bivalve diversity index at stations 1 and 3 was 0.29, while at station 2 it was 0.43, which is considered very low. The mangrove species found included Rhizophora mucronata, Rhizophora apiculata, Xylocarpus granatum, and nipah palm. Mangrove density at station 1 was 2,066.67 ind/ha and at station 2, 1,633.33 ind/ha, respectively, and was considered very dense. Conversely, at station 3, 1,066.67 ind/ha, the density was considered moderate. The correlation coefficient between bivalve abundance and mangrove density showed a correlation coefficient of R² = 0.0059, indicating a very low and insignificant correlation. Thus, increasing mangrove density did not significantly impact bivalve abundance at the study site.
