Acid sulfate soils are strongly influenced by groundwater table dynamics that affect redox conditions and pyrite stability. Pyrite oxidation increases soil acidity, resulting in higher Fe and Al solubility and lower phosphorus availability. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of calcite lime application, wetting–drying cycles, and their interaction on soil pH, redox potential (Eh), soluble Fe, soluble Al, and available P in actual acid sulfate soil. The experiment was arranged in a factorial Completely Randomized Design with three replications. Treatments consisted of calcite lime rates of 0, 5, and 10 t ha?¹ and three wetting–drying regimes: flooding at 10 cm above the soil surface for 4 weeks; alternating water levels of 10 cm and 0 cm weekly (10–0–10–0 cm); and flooding at 10 cm for 1 week followed by 0 cm for 3 weeks. Results showed that lime application at 10 t ha?¹ was the most effective treatment for improving soil chemical properties, as indicated by the highest soil pH and available P and the lowest soluble Al content. Flooding at 10 cm for 4 weeks resulted in the highest soil pH and the lowest Eh value, indicating more reduced conditions. Flooding at 10 cm for 1 week followed by 0 cm for 3 weeks resulted in the lowest soluble Fe and soluble Al contents. The interaction between lime application and wetting–drying cycles significantly affected soil Eh in the second week of incubation and soluble Al content
