ANALISIS KELAYAKAN USAHA PEMBESARAN IKAN NILA (Oreochromisniloticus) KERAMBA JARING APUNG (STUDI KASUS KJA IBU HJ. PAHRITA) DI DESA MALI-MALI KECAMATAN KARANG INTAN KABUPATEN BANJAR PROVINSI KALIMANTAN SELATAN

ABSTRAK. Analisis keuntungan dan kelayakan usaha pembesaran ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus) dengan sistem Keramba Jaring Apung (KJA) milik Ibu Hj. Pahrita di Desa Mali-Mali, Kecamatan Karang Intan, Kabupaten Banjar, Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Maret–Juli 2026 menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis keuntungan, Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C), Break Even Point (BEP), dan Payback Period (PP). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa total biaya operasional usaha sebesar Rp187.966.667/tahun, yang terdiri atas biaya tetap sebesar Rp18.406.667 dan biaya variabel sebesar Rp169.560.000. Total penerimaan usaha mencapai Rp266.000.000/tahun dengan produksi 7.600 kg/tahun, sehingga diperoleh keuntungan sebesar Rp78.033.333/tahun atau sekitar Rp39.016.666 per siklus produksi. Hasil analisis kelayakan menunjukkan nilai R/C Ratio sebesar 1,42, yang berarti setiap pengeluaran Rp1,00 menghasilkan penerimaan sebesar Rp1,42 sehingga usaha dinyatakan layak dan menguntungkan. Nilai BEP Produksi sebesar 5.370 kg dan BEP Harga sebesar Rp24.732/kg, sedangkan produksi aktual mencapai 7.600 kg dengan harga jual Rp35.000/kg, sehingga telah melampaui titik impas. Analisis Payback Period (PP) menunjukkan bahwa investasi sebesar Rp72.260.000 dapat kembali dalam waktu sekitar 0,9 tahun atau 10,8 bulan. Dengan demikian, usaha pembesaran ikan nila menggunakan sistem Keramba Jaring Apung milik Ibu Hj. Pahrita layak untuk dijalankan dan dikembangkan.

BUSINESS FEASIBILITY ANALYSIS OF NILE TILAPIA (Oreochromis niloticus) GROW OUT CULTURE USING A FLOATING NET CAGE SYSTEM (A CASE STUDY OF HJ. PAHRITA'S FLOATING NET CAGE FARM) IN MALI-MALI VILLAGE KARANG INTAN DISTRICT BANJAR REGENCY SOUTH KALIMANTAN PROVINCE

ABSTRACT. Analyze the profitability and business feasibility of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) grow-out farming using the Floating Net Cage (FNC) system owned by Hj. Pahrita in Mali-Mali Village, Karang Intan District, Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan Province. The research was conducted from March to July 2026 using a case study method with a quantitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review, and were analyzed using profit analysis, Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C Ratio), Break Even Point (BEP), and Payback Period (PP).The results showed that the total operational cost of the business was Rp187,966,667 per year, consisting of fixed costs of Rp18,406,667 and variable costs of Rp169,560,000. The total annual revenue reached Rp266,000,000 with a production of 7,600 kg per year, resulting in an annual profit of Rp78,033,333 or approximately Rp39,016,666 per production cycle. The feasibility analysis indicated an R/C Ratio of 1.42, meaning that every Rp1.00 of production cost generated Rp1.42 in revenue, indicating that the business was profitable and financially feasible. The Break Even Point (BEP) analysis showed a production BEP of 5,370 kg and a price BEP of Rp24,732/kg, while the actual production reached 7,600 kg with a selling price of Rp35,000/kg, exceeding the break-even point. The Payback Period (PP) analysis showed that the initial investment of Rp72,260,000 could be recovered within approximately 0.9 years or 10.8 months. Therefore, the Nile tilapia grow-out business using the Floating Net Cage system owned by Hj. Pahrita is financially feasible and has good prospects for further development.
