Edamame (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) is a vegetable soybean crop that is rich in protein and has economic potential for development in Indonesia. One way to increase edamame production is by using liquid fertilizer, which can supply nutrients and support plant growth. This study aims to determine the effect of several types of liquid fertilizer on crop yield and pod damage caused by pest infestation, as well as to identify the optimal treatment. The study was conducted in Loktabat Selatan Village, Banjarbaru, using a single-factor randomized block design (RBD) with five treatments: no liquid fertilizer, liquid fertilizer 1, liquid fertilizer 2, liquid fertilizer 3, and liquid fertilizer 4, each repeated four times. The observed parameters included the number of pods per plant, the fresh pod wet weight per plant, and the intensity of pest infestation on the pods. The results showed that the application of various types of liquid fertilizer had a significant effect on the number of pods but did not have a significant effect on pod wet weight or the intensity of pest infestation. Liquid fertilizer treatment 2 yielded the best results with the highest number of pods at 41.40 per plant and the lowest pod damage rate at 2.22%, while liquid fertilizer treatment 4 resulted in the lowest number of pods at 26.65 per plant and the highest pod damage rate at 10.98%. Therefore, liquid fertilizer 2 tended to provide the best overall performance based on pod number and lower pod damage compared with the other treatments
