This study aims to analyse the implementation of work stress management policies and identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing employee work stress management policies at the Class IIB Marabahan State Detention Centre. This study uses a qualitative approach to examine work stress management policy implementation at the Class IIB Marabahan Detention Centre. It provides an in-depth picture based on experiences, perceptions, and implementation practices at the Marabahan Detention Centre. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis related to the implementation of work stress management policies at the Class IIB Marabahan Detention Centre. Research results show that the Class IIB Marabahan State Detention Centre implements employee work stress management policies through the Physical, Mental, and Discipline (FMD) Program, which provides physical and psychological refreshment, boosts work motivation, and strengthens camaraderie among staff. Policy implementation is supported by open communication, resource availability, positive attitudes from implementers, and clear task distribution. However, its execution is not yet optimal because program evaluations are still done informally, there are no work stress measurement instruments or specific standard operating procedures available, and the program's continuity heavily depends on budget availability. These conditions indicate that the program's impact on employees remains short-term, so more systematic and sustainable work stress management is needed to better support employee wellbeing. The study's conclusion shows that implementing employee work stress management policies at Marabahan Class IIB State Detention Centre through the Physical, Mental, and Discipline (FMD) Program has been going quite well. However, it's not yet optimal because of limitations in evaluation, implementation guidelines, and resource support. This means the current approach still needs strengthening so that work stress management can more effectively support employees' psychological wellbeing.
