This research investigated the effect of the Hill Jogg-Stride training method on 5K running performance among non-athlete members of the GB Runner Banjarbaru community. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental One Group Pretest-Posttest Design was employed. Twenty-four participants were selected using purposive sampling and completed a four-week training program consisting of 12 sessions conducted three times per week. Performance data were obtained from 5K running tests administered before and after the intervention. Statistical analysis included the Shapiro-Wilk normality test followed by a paired-sample t-test with a significance level of 0.05. The normality test confirmed that both datasets were normally distributed, with significance values of 0.119 for the pre-test and 0.052 for the post-test. The paired-sample t-test produced a significance value of 0.015, indicating a significant improvement after the intervention. Mean completion time decreased from 1,444 seconds (24 minutes 04 seconds) to 1,407 seconds (23 minutes 27 seconds), reflecting an average improvement of 37 seconds. These results demonstrate that the Hill Jogg-Stride training method effectively enhanced 5K running performance among non-athlete runners in the GB Runner Banjarbaru community.
