ABSTRAK
RHK adalah salah satu cara pengaturan lalu lintas dengan mengatur tempat antrian sepeda motor dengan kendaraan roda empat atau lebih pada saat berhenti di pendekat simpang bersinyal selama nyala merah.. Ruang Henti Khusus ini telah diujicobakan dalam skala terbatas untuk mendukung pergerakan sepeda motor pada persimpangan bersinyal di kota-kota besar di Indonesia.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi simpang tersebut kemudian direncanakan Ruang Henti Khusus sesuai dengan banyaknya penumpukan sepeda motor selama fase merah di persimpangan tersebut. Evaluasi simpang dilakukan berdasarkan data primer dan data sekunder. Metode perhitungan berpedoman pada Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI) 1997 dan Pedoman Perencanaan Teknis Ruang Henti Khusus (RHK) Sepeda Motor pada Persimpangan Bersinyal di KawasanPerkotaan.
Perilaku lalu lintas persimpangan kondisi eksisting adalah, kapasitas pendekat utara 1464 smp/jam, DS (Derajat Kejenuhan) 0,822,( panjang antrian)72 m dan (tundaan rata-rata)27,6 det/smp. Kapasitas pendekat selatan-ST11606 smp/jam, DS (Derajat Kejenuhan) 0,564, (panjang antrian)44 m, dan (tundaan rata-rata)20 det/smp. Kapasitas pendekat selatan-ST2730 smp/jam, DS (Derajat Kejenuhan) 0,044, (panjang antrian)8 m, dan (tundaan rata-rata)28,5 det/smp.Kapasitas pendekat selatan-RT593 smp/jam, DS (Derajat Kejenuhan) 0,822, (panjang antrian)36 m, dan (tundaan rata-rata)44,9 det/smp. Kapasitas pendekat timur 532 smp/jam, DS (Derajat Kejenuhan) 0,822, (panjang antrian)50 m, dan (tundaan rata-rata)45 det/smp. Desain Ruang Henti Khusus pada pendekat utara yaitu 2 lajur dengan lajur pendekat dan luasnya 89 m2; pada pendekat selatan yaitu 2 lajur dengan lajur pendekat dan luasnya 96 m2; pada pendekat timur tidak bisa direncanakan ruang henti khusus karena tidak memenuhi syarat menurut pedoman ruang henti khusus.

Abstract
RHK is one way of regulating traffic by arranging motorcycle queuing places with four or more wheeled vehicles when stopping at the signal intersection approach during red flame. This Special Stop Room has been tested on a limited scale to support motorbike movement at signal junctions in big cities in Indonesia.
This study aims to evaluate the intersection and then planned Special Stop Space in accordance with the number of buildups of motorbikes during the red phase at the intersection. Cross-sectional evaluation is based on primary data and secondary data. The calculation method is guided by the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI) and the Guidelines for Technical Planning for Special Stop Space (RHK) of Motorcycles at Significant Intersections in Urban Areas.
The behavior of traffic intersection of existing conditions is, the northern approach capacity is 1464 pcu / hour, DS (Degree of Saturation) is 0.822, (queue length is) 72 m and (the average delay is) 27.6 seconds / pcu. The approach capacity of south-ST1 1606 pcu / hour, DS (Degree of Saturation) 0.564, (queue length) 44 m, and (the average delay) of 20 seconds / pcu. The approach capacity of south-ST2 is 730 pcu / hour, DS (Degree of Saturation) is 0.044, (queue length) is 8 m, and (the average delay) is 28.5 sec / pcu. The south-RT approach capacity is 593 pcu / hour, DS (Degree of Saturation) is 0.822, (queue length) is 36 m, and the (average delay) is 44.9 det / pcu. East approach capacity is 532 pcu / hour, DS (Degree of Saturation) 0.822, (queue length) 50 m, and (average delay) of 45 det / pcu. Special Stop Space Design in the northern approach is 2 lanes with an approach lane and an area of ??89 m2; in the southern approach, namely 2 lanes with an approach lane and an area of ??96 m2; in the eastern approach special planned stop space cannot be planned because it does not meet the requirements according to the special stop room guidelines.
