ABSTRAK

Penelitian “Pengaruh Pasang Surut Sungai Barito Terhadap Status Kualitas Perairan Sekitar Pelabuhan Perikanan Banjarmasin” bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi aktifitas-aktifitas di perairan sekitar pelabuhan perikanan Banjarmasin yang berkontribusi terhadap penurunan kualitas air dan mengetahui status mutu air untuk kepentingan perikanan di perairan sekitar pelabuhan perikanan Banjarmasin. Metode yang digunakan yakni pengambilan sampel secara sesaat (grab sampling), dilakukan di tiga titik stasiun dengan tiga kali pengulangan serta tiga waktu pengambilan yaitu saat periode pasang, surut dan tergenang. Hasil pengukuran parameter fisika di lapangan berupa variabel suhu sebesar 26,4^OC – 30^OC dan variabel kecerahan sebesar 0 cm – 63,5 cm. Hasil pengukuran parameter kimia berupa pH sebesar 4,23 – 7,8, variabel DO sebesar 2,8 mg/l – 6,7 mg/l, variabel salinitas sebesar 0‰ - 10‰ sedangkan hasil analisis di laboratorium berupa variabel TSS sebesar 12mg/l – 34mg/l, variabel BOD₅ sebesar  5,41 mg/l – 131,53 mg/l, variabel minyak lemak sebesar <0,01 mg/l – 396 mg/l. Hasil perhitungan dengan metode IP diperoleh bahwa status kualitas air Sungai Barito perairan sekitar pelabuhan perikanan Banjarmasin tercemar ringan.

ABSTRACT

The study "Effects of the Barito Tides on the Status of Waters Quality Around Banjarmasin Fishing Ports" aims to identify activities in waters around the Banjarmasin fishing port that contribute to water quality degradation and determine the status of water quality for the benefit of fisheries in waters around the Banjarmasin fishing port. The method used is grab sampling, taken at three points of the station with three repetitions and three times, which are during the period of tides, tides and floods. The results of measurements of physical parameters in the field are for the temperature variable is about 26.4OC - 30OC and brightness variable is on the range 0 cm - 63.5 cm. The results of the measurement of chemical parameters such as pH is about 4.23 - 7.8, DO variable 2.8 mg / l - 6.7 mg / l, salinity variable 0 ‰ - 10 ‰ while the results of analysis in the laboratory of TSS variable 12 mg / l - 34 mg / l, BOD5 variable 5.41 mg / l - 131.53 mg / l, fat oil variable <0.01 mg / l - 396 mg / l. The results of calculations using the IP method indicates the status of water quality. The waters of the Barito River around the Banjarmasin fishing port are lightly polluted.
