HUBUNGAN ANTARA DUKUNGAN SUAMI DENGAN PELAKSANAAN INISIASI MENYUSU DINI (IMD) PADA IBU POST-PARTUM DI RSUD RATU ZALECHA MARTAPURA

Latar belakang:Inisiasi Menyusu Dini (IMD) adaIah rangkaian perilaku bayi untuk menyusu segera seteIah diIahirkan daIam 1 jam pertama dengan prinsip bayi berusaha sendiri menemukan puting payudara ibunya. Salah satu upaya untuk menunjang keberhasilan pelaksanaan IMD adalah dibutuhkan dukungan dari keluarga terutama suami.

Tujuan:Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan suami dengan pelaksanaan Inisiasi Menyusu Dini (IMD) pada ibu post-partum di RSUD Ratu Zalecha Martapura.

Metode:Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 89 responden yaitu ibu post-partum di RSUD Ratu Zalecha Martapura dari bulan Februari-April 2019. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner data karakteristik responden, dukungan suami dan pelaksanaan IMD. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman.

Hasil: Terdapat hubungan antara dukungan suami dengan pelaksanaan Inisiasi Menyusu Dini (IMD) pada ibu post-partum dengan keeratan hubungan sedang (p=0,000, r= 0,442).

Pembahasan:Pelaksanaan IMD erat kaitannya dengan dukungan orang sekitarnya terutama suami untuk menjaga kestabilan emosi ibu.

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HUSBAND’S SUPPORT WITH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF EARLY INITIATION OF BREASTFEEDING (EIB) TO POST-PARTUM MOTHERS AT RSUD RATU ZALECHA MARTAPURA

Background: Early Initiation of Breastfeeding (EIB) is a series of behaviors for baby to breastfeed immediately after birth in the first one hour with the principle of a baby trying to find mother's breast nipples. One effort to support the successful implementation of EIB is the support needed from the family, especially the husband.

Objectives: To determine the relationship between husband’s support with the implementation of Early Initiation of Breastfeeding (EIB)  to post-partum mothers at RSUD Ratu Zalecha Martapura.

Method: This study used a cross sectional design.  The sampling technique used purposive sampling with total sample was 89 post-partum mothers at RSUD Ratu Zalecha Martapura from February to April 2019. The research instrument was in the form of questionnaire data on respondents' characteristics, husband's support and implementation of EIB. The data were analized using Spearman correlation test.

Results: The results of this study indicate there was a relationship between husband’s support with the implementation of Early Initiation of Breastfeeding (EIB) to  post-partum mothers with moderate closeness (p = 0,000, r = 0,442).

Discussion:    The implementation of EBI is closely related to the support of those around her, especially her husband to maintain the emotional stability of the mother.
