Peran karang taruna di Desa Anjir Serapat Muara 1 belum dikatakan maksimal karena kurangnya keaktifan anggota karang taruna dalam beberapa kegiatan sehingga lebih banyak yang bukan anggota dalam mengikuti kegiatan hal tersebut berprengaruh dalam peran karang taruna di desa kegiatan sosial sangat penting dilakukan di setiap desa karena dapat menambah rasa kekeluargaan, empati, dan peduli dengan keadaan sekitar . 

Tujuan penelitian: 1)Untuk mengetahui profil desa Anjir Serapat Muara 1 dan profil karang taruna. 2) Untuk mengetahui peran karang taruna desa Anjir Serapat Muara 3)Untuk mengetahui peran karang taruna desa Anjir Serapat Muara 1 sebagai Sumber Belajar IPS.

Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Kemudian teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi. Untuk menguji keabsahan data peneliti melakukan perpanjangan pengamatan, member check, dan triangulasi. Pada triangulasi yaitu yang digunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi waktu.

Hasil penelitian terdapat 1). Profil Karang Taruna Maju Bersama Desa Anjir Serapat Muara 1. 2). Kegiatan karang taruna di Desa Anjir Serapat Muara 1 dalam kegiatan yang dilakukan seperti kegiatan olahraga, kegiatan keagamaan dan kegiatan gotong royong. 3). Kegiatan karang taruna sebagai sumber belajar IPS kegiatan olahraga, kegiatan keagamaan dan kegiatan gotong royong yang dilaksanakan oleh karang taruna di Desa Anjir Serapat Muara 1 dapat dimasukkan dalam sumber belajar IPS di SMP pada materi kelas VII semester II materi interaksi sosial dan lembaga sosial.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam peran karang taruna dalam kegiatan di Desa Anjir Serapat Muara 1 terdapat nilai sosial yang dimiliki oleh karang taruna dan masyarakat Desa Anjir Serapat Muara 1. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan masyarakat dapat dikaitkan dengan sumber belajar IPS di SMP.

The social activities of youth organizations in the village of Anjir Serapat Muara 1 have not been said to be optimal due to the lack of activeness of youth members in several activities so that there are more non-members participating in activities. This has an impact on the role of youth organizations in the village. add a sense of kinship, empathy, and care about the surrounding circumstances.

Research objectives: 1) To find out the profile of Anjir Serapat Muara 1 village and the profile of youth organizations. 2) To find out the social activities of the Anjir Serapat Muara village cadet youth group 3) To find out the social activities of the Anjir Serapat Muara 1 village youth group as Social Studies Learning Resources.

This research approach uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Then data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and verification. To test the validity of the data, the researcher extended observations, member checks, and triangulation. In triangulation, namely source triangulation and time triangulation are used.

The results of the study found that the youth group in Anjir Serapat Muara 1 Village named the Maju Bersama youth organizationin social activities in Anjir Serapat Muara 1 Village played an important role in the activities that had been carried out with social activities that could add social value, namely a sense of kinship, empathy, caring for the surrounding situation from the youth activities. In the social activities carried out by youth organizations in Anjir Serapat Muara 1 Village, they are working together to clean up the village, celebrating holidays such as August 17th, New Year's celebrations, and the anniversary of Barito Kuala district. Social activities carried out by youth organizations in Anjir Serapat Muara 1 Village can be included in social studies learning resources in junior high school in class VII semester II material on social interaction and social institutions

Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that in the social activities of youth organizations in Anjir Serapat Muara 1 Village, there are social values that are owned by youth organizations and the people of Anjir Serapat Muara 1 Village. This shows that the community environment can be associated with social studies learning resources in junior high school.
