ABSTRAK

EMERIA MANAO. 2023. Hubungan Antara Gaya Kepemimpinan Transformasional Kepala Sekolah, Komunikasi Asertif, dan Iklim Kerja Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Guru SD Swasta di Kecamatan Banjarbaru Utara. Pembimbing (1): Dr. H. M. Saleh, M.Pd., (2)  Dr. H. Metroyadi, SH., M.Pd.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah, komunikasi asertif, dan iklim kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja guru; hubungan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dan kepuasan kerja guru; hubungan komunikasi asertif  kepala sekolah dan kepuasan kerja guru; hubungan iklim kerja dan kepuasan kerja guru; menganalisis hubungan gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan iklim kerja; hubungan komunikasi asertif dan iklim kerja; hubungan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dan kepuasan kerja guru melalui iklim kerja; hubungan komunikasi asertif dan kepuasan kerja guru melalui iklim kerja.

 Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 123 orang. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 96 orang yang dipilih secara proposional random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen kuesioner terdiri dari Gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah (20 item), komunikasi asertif (20 item), iklim kerja (20 item), dan kepuasan kerja (25 item) yang telah memenuhi syarat uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Analisis dan penelitian ini menggunakan analisis jalur (path analysis).

Hasil analisis ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan langsung gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dan kepuasan kerja guru; komunikasi asertif dan kepuasan kerja guru; iklim kerja dan kepuasan kerja guru; gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dan iklim kerja; komunikasi asertif dan iklim kerja; dan hubungan tidak langsung gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dan kepuasan kerja melalui iklim kerja; komunikasi asertif dan kepuasan kerja melalui iklim kerja.

Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan Gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah, komunikasi asertif, iklim kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja guru SD Swasta di Kecamatan Banjarbaru Utara. Saran kepada kepala sekolah mempunyai visi yang jelas, mengispirasi, memotivasi, menunjukkan ide-ide penting, rasa saling percaya, setia, serta menghargai bawahan dengan pimpinan, dan bawahan termotivasi dalam melaksanakan dari apa yang pimpinan harapkan.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ABSTRACT

The Relationship Between the Transformational    Leadership Style of School Principals, Assertive Communication, and Working Climate on Job Satisfaction of Private Elementary School Teachers in North Banjarbaru District.          This studying aims to describe the principal's transformational leadership style, assertive communication, and working climate on the job as the teacher  satisfaction; the relationship between the principal's transformational leadership style and the job as the teacher satisfaction, and the relationship between the principal's assertive communication and the job as the teacher satisfaction; the relationship between working climate and the job as the teacher trough; analyze the relationship between the principal's leadership style and working climate; assertive communication relationship and working climate; the relationship between the principal's transformational leadership style and the job as the teacher through the working climate; assertive communication relationship and the job as the teacher satisfaction through working climate.

        This research uses the were quantitative approaching with the descriptive methods. The research of population were 123 peoples. The samples for this research were 96 people, selected by proportional random sampling. The Data collecting had been using the questionnaire instruments consists of the principal's transformational leadership style (20items), assertive communication (20 items), working climate (20 items), and the job as the teacher satisfaction (25 items) which had accomadated as the requirements of validity and reliability tests. This analysis and research use the path analysis.

        The results of this analysis indicates that is a directly relationship between the principal's transformational leadership style and the job as the teacher  satisfaction; assertive communication and the job as the teacher satisfaction; working climate and the job as the teacher satisfaction; principal's transformational leadership style and working climate; assertive communication and working climate; and the indirectly relationship between the principal's transformational leadership style and the job as the teacher satisfaction through working climate; assertive communication and the job as the teacher satisfaction through working  climate.

        The conclusion of this studying is showing us that is a relationship between the principal's transformational leadership style, assertive communication, working climate and the job as the teacher satisfaction for the private elementary school teachers in North Banjarbaru District.
