TINGKAT LITERASI, NUMERASI, DAN LITERASI SAINS PESERTA DIDIK SMP NEGERI 31 BANJARMASIN (Oleh: Akmalia Nur Rahmah; Pembimbing: Rizky Febriyani Putri, Sauqina; 2023; 93 pages)

Capaian peserta didik pada bidang literasi, numerasi, dan sains Indonesia menempati tingkat ke 10 negara terbawah berdasarkan survei PISA 2018. Pemerintah melalui, mendikbud dalam kurikulum merdeka melakukan perbaikan pada layanan stimulasi perkembanagan kapasitas diri peserta didik dengan Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM). AKM fokus menyoroti kompetensi literasi dan numerasi secara mendalam. Di sisi lain, walaupun tidak termasuk fokus utama kurikulum merdeka, literasi sains dianggap sebagai slaah satu syarat utama terbentuknya masyarakat demokratis. Hal ini terlihat dari adanya ketertarikan khusus OECD terhadap literasi sains. Pentingnya literasi, numerasi, dan literasi sains bagi peserta didik mendasari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat literasi, numerasi dan literasi sains peserta didik SMP Negeri 31 Banjarmaisn. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 31 Banjarmasin. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes. Secara umum, tingkat literasi peserta didik SMP Negeri 31 Banjarmasin termasuk pada tingkat “dasar” dengan ketuntasan rata-rata sebesar 35,4%. Numerasi peserta didik termasuk pada tingkat “dasar” dengan angka ketuntasan rata-rata sebesar 29,9%.  Literasi Sains peserta didik pada tingkat “rendah” dengan angka ketuntasan rata-rata sebesar 48,8%.  Literasi, numerasi, dan literasi sains penting bagi peserta didik sehingga perlu adanya strategi yang relevan agar dapat meningkatan kompetensi literasi, numerasi dan literasi sns peserta didik.

The achievements of students in the fields of literacy, numeracy, and science in Indonesia occupy the bottom 10 countries based on the 2018 PISA survey. The government, through the Minister of Education and Culture in the independent curriculum, made improvements to the stimulation service for the development of students' self-capacity with the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM). AKM focuses on highlighting literacy and numeracy competencies in depth. On the other hand, although not included in the main focus of the independent curriculum, scientific literacy is considered one of the main requirements for the formation of a democratic society. This can be seen from the OECD's special interest in science literacy. The importance of literacy, numeracy, and science literacy for students underlies this study to determine the level of literacy, numeracy and science literacy of students of SMP Negeri 31 Banjarmaisn. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The subjects of this study were all grade VII students of SMP Negeri 31 Banjarmasin. Data collection is carried out by tests. In general, the literacy level of students of SMP Negeri 31 Banjarmasin is included at the "basic" level with an average completeness of 35.4%. Student numeracy is included at the "basic" level with an average completeness rate of 29.9%.  Science literacy of students at a "low" level with an average completeness rate of 48.8%.  Literacy, numeracy, and scientific literacy are important for students so that relevant strategies are needed in order to improve the literacy, numeracy and literacy competencies of students
