This research aims to know the effectiveness of useAudiovisual media in English language learning, and to know the roleAudio media to improve students' vocabulary skills.This research uses quantitative methods with research designThe experimental population in this study was class VIII while the samplein this study are class VIII-B and class VIII-C. Based on the results of expert assessment, the instrument can be obtained from validatorsAt 96.42% with the category "very decent", the results of the material expert assessment can beobtained from validators by 100% with the category "Very Decent", resultsQuestionnaires assessing the use of media by students can be obtained from participantsEducation by 90.25% with the category "Very Decent", improved learning outcomesStudents get a gain value of 0.63 with the"medium" category. FromThe results of the data research are impuded.
