GAMBARAN PERAN PERAWAT DALAM UPAYA PENCEGAHAN HIPERTENSI DI DAERAH PINGGIRAN SUNGAI KABUPATEN BANJAR

Latar belakang: Peran perawat dalam upaya pencegahan hipertensi merupakan tindakan perawat terhadap pasien dan juga kepada dirinya dalam upaya pencegahan hipertensi. Tindakan-tindakan ini dapat berupa pemberian informasi pencegahan hipertensi melalui pendidikan, edukasi, dan atau penyuluhan kesehatan. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui gambaran peran perawat dalam upaya pencegahan hipertensi di daerah pinggiran sungai Kabupaten Banjar.

Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan studi deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik total sampling sebanyak 45 perawat di tiga puskesmas Pinggiran Sungai Kabupaten Banjar yaitu Puskesmas Martapura Barat, Puskesmas Martapura Timur, dan Puskesmas Astambul. Instrumen menggunakan koesioner peran perawat untuk mengetahui distribusi frekuensi peran perawat sebagai educator, counselor, collaborator, dan role model. Analisis data menggunakan analisis univariat.

Hasil: Peran perawat dalam upaya pencegahan hipertensi sebagai counselor sudah sangat optimal sebanyak 27 orang (60,0%), peran perawat sebagai role model juga sudah sangat optimal sebanyak 33 orang (73,3%), peran perawat sebagai educator sudah sangat optimal sebanyak 29 orang (64,4%), dan peran perawat sebagai collaborator sudah sangat optimal sebanyak 28 orang (62,2%)

Pembahasan: Peran perawat dalam upaya pencegahan hipertensi di daerah pinggiran sungai Kabupaten Banjar didapatkan hasil yaitu para perawat sudah menjalankan peran-perannya dengan sangat optimal.

Description of The Role of Nurses in Hypertension Prevention Efforts in Riverine Areas in Kabupaten Banjar

Background: The role of the nurse in the prevention of hypertension is the actions of the nurse towards the patient and also to herself in the efforts to prevent hypertension. These actions can take the form of providing information on hypertension prevention through education, education, and/or health extension. Objective: To find out an overview of the role of nurses in efforts to prevent hypertension in the riverside areas of Banjar Regency.

Method: The study used quantitative descriptive studies. Sampling by total sampling technique of 45 nurses in three health centers in Banjar Regency Suburban Sungai, namely West Martapura Health Center, Martapura Timur Health Center, and Astambul Health Center. The instrument used nurse role questionnaires to determine the frequency distribution of nurses' roles as educator, counselor, collaborator, and role model. Data analysis used univariate analysis.

Results: The role of nurses in efforts to prevent hypertension as counselors has been very optimal as many as 27 people (60.0%), the role of nurses as role models has also been very optimal as many as 33 people (73.3%), the role of nurses as educators has been very optimal as many as 29 people (64.4%), and the role of nurses as collaborators is very optimal as many as 28 people (62.2%)

Discussion: The results of the nurses' role in efforts to prevent hypertension in the riverside areas of Banjar Regency are that the nurses have carried out their roles very optimally.
