Oral presentation is important to cultivate students’ critical thinking abilities and effective communication skills since oral presentations become an essential tool to assess students’ comprehension and knowledge of the course matter. Previous studies about oral presentations have focused only on the problems associated with giving oral presentations and the anxiety that comes with speaking in front of an audience, while they do not explain the strategies and preparation that can prevent these occurrences. Thus, this study was conducted to explore the various strategies employed by students from higher education.
The researcher used qualitative and descriptive methods. The researcher used three instruments, observations were conducted during seminar classes to assess presentation skills, while interviews provided detailed insights into specific strategies, documentation, including voice recordings and photographs, supported data validity. The results underscore the need for comprehensive presentation skills training, integrating modern technology and personal interaction to equip students with the necessary tools for academic and professional success.
